The big companies are MNCs which have their development centers in Bangalore or Hyderabad such as Intel, Bell Labs etc. These MNCs mostly take students from campuses of prestigious institutions such as IITs. (For example, National Instruments, a semiconductor MNC comes in IIT Indore campus). Otherwise, you have to show exceptional talent and apply directly. 2) Public Sector: The public sector has more opportunities for ECE than CS/IT, but you have to face tough competitive examinations to get in.
